Topic outline

  • General

The Plenary meeting activity is a tool to structure meetings using parliamentary procedure. Users can submit motions, queue to speak, and vote on resolutions. Results are recorded to provide an overview to organize the meeting minutes. It can be used to teach parliamentary procedure or to conduct business for organizations.

  • Usage

  • Example meetings

You can try meeting in the example activity that will appear below if you create an account on this site. The meeting is set up as a external tool (LTI).  If you have a group of people interested, schedule a time to test it together. It is more fun than meeting alone. One person should go to the user menu and 'Switch role to...'  chair to preside over the meeting.
